How do I raise money from sponsors and win prizes?
  • Complete the attached sponsorship form.
  • Bring money raised to the race and receive a raffle ticket.
  • Stay after the race for raffle drawings.
What is the race day schedule of events?
  • 8:15 WARM-UP WITH SLUGGER!
  • 8:30 MAD DASH (100 yrds) 3&4 y/o (child may be accompanied by a parent)
  • 8:45 SHORT DASH (one lap on track) 5&6
  • 9:00 HALF DASH (two laps on track) 7&8
  • 9:15 JR. MILE DASH (four laps on track) 9&10
  • 9:30 SR. MILE DASH (four laps on track) 11&12
  • 9:45 SIBLING RACE ages 5-14 (Each person does one lap. Three trophy categories: brother/sister, brother/brother, sister/sister)
  • 10:00 Parent/Child Relay I 5-6 (with parent - each person does one lap, parent leads off)
  • 10:15 Parent/Child Relay II 7-8
  • 10:30 Parent/Child Relay III 9-12
  • 10:45 Awards Ceremony and Raffle!
Can you tell me more about the awards and raffle prizes? Trophies will be awarded to the three fastest girls and the three fastest boys in each age group from 5-12. Trophies will also be awarded to winners of the Sibling Relay and Parent/Child relay in each age category. Raffle tickets are provided prior to the race to those dashers who raise $25 or more for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF is focused on finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
